Detailed itinerary

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Rise early for a hearty breakfast and then depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its biodiversity and the critically endangered mountain gorillas. The journey may take 6-8 hours, but the scenic landscapes and lush vegetation en route will make the time fly by. Arrive in Bwindi and check into your lodge or campsite.

Day 3: Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Early morning breakfast, followed by a short drive to the park’s headquarters. Here, you’ll receive a comprehensive briefing from experienced rangers on gorilla etiquette and safety. The trek commences as you enter the dense forest, guided by expert trackers who will lead you to one of the habituated gorilla families. Trekking time can range from 2 to 6 hours, depending on the location of the gorilla family. Day 4: Departure
